With plenty of the classic Volkl feel on tap, the Tour 10 Gen II is destined to find a strong following. This control oriented players racquet offers heaps of feel and comfort. We found a very smooth response from all areas of the court. From the baseline this racquet felt solid, controlled and very stable. We especially liked the weight and balance which offered enough stability to handle heavy hitting, yet provided enough maneuverability that players could still whip the racquet through the ball. At net stronger players will love the precision they'll find on touch volleys and angles. On serve there's ample access to spin and while this is a control racquet, we found good pace, too. Like most good player's racquets, the Tour 10 Gen II responds well to string selection and tension, letting the player easily customize the feel and response of this racquet. Players looking for some added touch, control and feel should take note, this one's got plenty to offer. Best suited to 5.0+ level players.
